Sans serif fonts worth noting!
I personally do not gravitate toward sans-serif fonts for my own work--I find them a bit boring (*hides*). But I know there are loads of great ones out there that have tons of personality. So I present to you: four sans fonts that are Very Interesting! My favorite of the bunch is Bellota, which is ironic because those little swashes could be considered serifs? (Type experts, feel free to comment.) I just really love the look of it. I think it could be perfect for some of my future projects! Which is your favorite?
No. 1 Biko Regular
Biko is a geometric sans serif font with a strong and friendly character. This font is suitable for display, copy text and logos. The name is a tribute to Steve Biko: a South African anti-apartheid activist.

No. 2 Cocomat Light
Cocomat is a typeface variant from the Coco Gothic family of sans serif geometric typefaces. It’s inspired by the style of the twenties and the visions of Italian futurists like Fortunato Depero, Giacomo Balla, and Antonio Sant’Elia. It comes in five weights, two of which are readily available for non-commercial use.

No. 3 Montserrat Light
The old posters and signs in the traditional Montserrat neighborhood of Buenos Aires inspired Julieta Ulanovsky to design this typeface and rescue the beauty of urban typography that emerged in the first half of the twentieth century. As urban development changes that place, it will never return to its original form and loses forever the designs that are so special and unique. The letters that inspired this project have work, dedication, care, color, contrast, light and life, day and night! These are the types that make the city look so beautiful. The Montserrat Project began with the idea to rescue what is in Montserrat and set it free under a libre license, the SIL Open Font License.

No. 4 Bellota Regular
Bellota is an ornamented, low contrast sans-serif with text and swash alternates. It’s just cute enough! It comes in two variations: Normal and Text. Each of these comes in three weights (Light/Regular/Bold) and Italics.
